Amie Peterson, LMHC

Owner & Clinical Director | EMDRIA Certified EMDR Therapist

Trauma • EMDR Intensives • First Responders • Healthcare Professionals • High-Stress Careers

Amie Peterson is the founder and Clinical Director of Thin Line Therapy 206 and an EMDRIA Certified EMDR Therapist specializing in trauma, cumulative occupational stress, critical incidents, burnout, sleep disruption, and the impact high-stress careers can have both on and off the job.

With more than 15 years of experience in behavioral health, Amie's background includes substance use treatment, inpatient psychiatric care, veteran mental health, trauma treatment, clinical leadership, and healthcare administration. She spent several years working within the Department of Veterans Affairs, including approximately six years leading the Walla Walla Vet Center, where her work focused extensively on veterans, trauma, and the unique demands of service-oriented careers.

For Amie, this work is also personal. She comes from a multigenerational law enforcement family and is the daughter of a retired Chief of Police who served for 34 years. That background gives her a firsthand understanding of first responder culture and of how demanding careers can affect not only the person doing the job, but also the people waiting for them at home.

Today, Amie's clinical practice focuses primarily on EMDR Intensive Therapy and specialized trauma treatment for first responders, healthcare professionals, and others working in high-stress and high-responsibility careers. Her approach is practical, direct, and trauma-informed, with a focus on helping clients process what they've experienced without losing the parts of themselves that make them effective at what they do.

Amie believes you shouldn't have to spend the first several sessions teaching your therapist your world before you can start talking about how that world is affecting you.

John Tank, LMHCA

Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate

Trauma • EMDR • Couples Counseling • First Responders • Military & Veterans • Christian Counseling

John Tank works with adults and couples navigating trauma, anxiety, relationship concerns, life transitions, stress, and the impact demanding careers can have on life outside of work. He is trained in EMDR and Gottman Method Couples Therapy and offers Christian counseling for clients who want faith intentionally incorporated into their treatment.

John brings a unique combination of clinical training and real-world experience to his work. A U.S. Navy veteran, he also has experience serving as a corrections chaplain and more than 20 years of pastoral leadership. This background gives him an understanding of military, corrections, first responder, faith, and other high-stress cultures where trust, responsibility, service, and asking for help can carry a different meaning.

In his work with couples, John helps clients strengthen communication, work through conflict, rebuild connection, and better understand how stress, trauma, and demanding careers can affect relationships at home. Individually, he provides a practical and supportive space to address experiences that may be difficult to carry alone.

John's approach is grounded, relational, and straightforward. Whether you're looking for trauma treatment, relationship support, or counseling that incorporates your Christian faith, he works to meet you where you are while helping you move toward meaningful and sustainable change.

Analizeth “Anali” Pesqueira, LSWAIC

Licensed Social Worker Associate Independent Clinical

Trauma • EMDR • Play Therapy • Children & Teens • Adults • Parent Support • Bilingual Counseling

Anali Pesqueira is a trauma-focused therapist who works with children, teens, adults, and parents navigating trauma, anxiety, behavioral concerns, emotional regulation, difficult life experiences, and other challenges affecting everyday life. She is trained in EMDR and Play Therapy and provides counseling in both English and Spanish.

Anali brings extensive experience working with children and parents, including a professional background in child welfare and forensic interviewing. This experience gives her a unique understanding of how trauma and difficult experiences can show up differently across development—and how a child's behavior can sometimes communicate what they aren't yet able to put into words.

A significant part of Anali's work involves supporting parents, not just the child. She helps parents better understand what may be driving their child's emotions or behavior while developing practical ways to strengthen connection, communication, regulation, and support at home.

Anali also works with adults and understands the unique pressures experienced by first responder and high-stress families. Her approach is warm, practical, and trauma-informed, adapting treatment to the age, needs, experiences, and goals of each client.

Whether she's working with a child, teen, adult, or parent, Anali focuses on creating a space where clients feel understood while building practical skills and working through the experiences that may be keeping them stuck.
